VICTAR VR Icons

A selection of animated buttons and icons created for VICTAR, a virtual reality experience aimed at school students to help them choose their future careers.

The animated buttons display 9 interests for the students to choose from, which animate when aimed at with the controller. The icons were created in Illustrator then exported to After Effects to be animated, with a limit of 1 second long. It was a lot of fun coming up with the different ways the interests could be displayed and then animated.

Each of the icons depict a personality trait that the students may be given. These were hand-drawn in illustrator and were again enjoyable to conceptualise how best to display the traits for students, especially with only two tones available to use.
